New School to be OPEN for the 2009 - 2010 School Year
Seguin Elementary is now open, located on Grand Mission Blvd.

Westpark Tollway
The much anticipated opening of the Westpark Tollway section that bypasses Grand Mission is now open, offering residents of the community their own Grand Mission exit. The Westpark Tollway is the first electronic-only tollway in the nation.
Drivers use only their EZ tags to travel from the Galleria area to west of Grand Mission. The tollway improves mobility for Fort Bend residents by creating a new east-west corridor with access to SH 6, Beltway 8, US 59 and the Galleria Area.
To visit Grand Mission take the Grand Mission Blvd exit off the Westpark Tollway or take FM 1093 all the way to Grand Mission.
Recreation Center
Residents of Grand Mission are enjoying staying cool in the newly opened recreation center that includes a 4000 sq.ft. leisure pool and a sprayground designed for Children. Inside residents benefit from a building of nearly 5,500 sq. ft. with a grand room, TV lounge, kitchen, fitness Center, and children's playroom.
